a. The local area where they have studied for the maximum number of years out of the aforementioned seven-year period.

b. In cases where the period of study is equal in two local areas, they will be eligible for consideration.

c. If the candidate has not studied in any educational institutions within the state but has resided in any local area or two local areas (for an equal duration) for a minimum period of seven consecutive years, they may also be considered under this category.

15% Unreserved Seats Eligibility: The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply for the 15% unreserved seats:

a. Candidates who have resided in the State for a cumulative period of ten years, excluding any periods of study outside the State. Additionally, candidates whose parents have resided in the State for a total period of ten years, excluding periods of employment outside the State, are also eligible under this category.

b. Candidates whose parents are employed by the state or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, local bodies, Universities, Educational institutions, and other similar quasi-public institutions within the state.
